Outstanding Professors and Researchers
For individuals who have well-established academic careers, and who have risen to the top of their field, the lengthy Labor Certification process can be avoided by applying for classification as an 'Outstanding Professor or Researcher'. With our considerable experience and expertise in this area, and our members' strong professional and personal ties to the scientific community in Winston-Salem, our firm has successfully represented a number of outstanding researchers, including individuals in the following fields:

This category is also available to Professors in all other areas of academia. In order to satisfy United States Citizenship and Immigration Services that the individual is internationally recognized as an outstanding professor or researcher, he or she must produce evidence of
|
International recognition as an outstanding professor or researcher in a specific academic field; |
|
A minimum of three years of experience in teaching and/or research in that academic field; |
|
Receipt of major prizes or awards for outstanding achievement in your academic field; |
|
Employment in a tenured, tenure-track or indefinite position. |
AND at least two of the following:

Documentation of the alien’s receipt of major prizes or awards for outstanding achievement in the academic field; |
|
Documentation of the alien’s membership in associations in the academic field which require outstanding achievements of their members; |
|
Published material in professional publications written by others about the alien’s work in the academic field; |
|
Evidence of the alien’s participation, either individually or on a panel, as the judge of the work of others in the same or an allied academic field; |
|
Evidence of the alien’s original scientific or scholarly research contributions to the academic field; or |
|
Authorship of scholarly books or articles, in scholarly journals with international circulation, in the academic field. |
